Jordan-Mary Bellamy is a Clarendon Scholar born and raised in Washington D.C., where she was inspired to dedicate her life to service. During Jordan’s time at Gordon, she has served as a Student Ambassador, editor/contributor to campus publications, and received the Center for Public Justice Student-Faculty-Research Prize for her work on housing policy. Her servant's heart is exemplified by her participation in several mission trips and internships at the Maryland House of Delegates, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Office of Congressional and Intergovernmental Relations, and the Civil Air Patrol, Tuskegee Squadron. After Gordon, Jordan plans to get her Master’s in Public Policy and her Juris Doctorate.
Shineika Fareus ’21 | Office of the Vice President for Student Life

Shineika Fareus is a Clarendon Scholar from New London, CT. Throughout her years in New London, she has made it her task to work alongside elected officials and youths to improve the city’s public school system. She has also traveled to Haiti to conduct research and direct a documentary on the foster care system there. At Gordon, her passion for social justice has led her to advocate for change through the Gordon College Student Association as Freshman Class Representative and Vice President of Student Life. She has also served on the College’s Multicultural Affairs Committee, as a leader in Afro-Hamwe, and as a Student Ambassador.
Joshua Grambow ’20 | Office of the President

Josh Grambow is an avid outdoorsman from the state of New Hampshire. At Gordon, he has devoted himself to public service through the Gordon College Student Association by serving as first-year representative, vice president of academic affairs, and student body president. Josh is an A.J. Gordon Scholar who has been a member of the Jerusalem and Athens Forum, cellist in the symphony orchestra, and intern at both Christian and secular political non-profits. He loves encouraging Christian engagement in the public sphere, a passion he hopes to carry into his pursuit of a career in the law following graduation.
Collin Hall ‘21 | Office of the Vice President for Marketing and External Relations

Collin Hall is passionate about political justice and good journalism. Collin is a Global Honors Scholar, and a former Editor-In-Chief of The Tartan, Gordon’s student newspaper. He has worked at places such as the Cape May County Herald, where he writes news articles and columns to promote political discourse on tough topics. Collin is an ardent advocate for videogames as an art form and enjoys hiking, creative writing, collecting Japanese Pokémon cards, media criticism, and journaling.
Owen Haworth ‘20 | Office of the Vice President for Finance and Administration

Owen Haworth is a native Coloradan who loves skiing the Rocky Mountains with friends and connecting with people from all walks of life. At Gordon, Owen has worked for admissions, served as a Student Ambassador to the Career and Connections Institute and is currently the co-president of the student-managed Gordon Investment Fund. Outside of Gordon, Owen has worked in corporate finance with Kettering Health Network, equity research with Craig-Hallum Capital Group, and private equity with Brookwood Financial Partners. After Gordon, Owen hopes to make a difference through a career on Wall Street and desires to integrate Christian values to an industry that desperately needs the love of Christ.
Grace Heffner ’20 | Office of the Dean of Faculty

Major: History
Grace Heffner has a deep passion for art and history, and she desires to utilize her research skills and love of learning to present information in a way that creates conversations among diverse groups of people. At Gordon, she has been a student ambassador, campus tour guide, admissions intern, student life intern, and Orientation coordinator. Grace spent a semester at the University of Oxford, where her love for reading and traveling grew to new heights. After Gordon, she hopes to go to graduate school for Museum Studies and Business Management, and plans to enter the museum field to serve as an exhibit curator.
Matt McEathron ’21 | Office of the Senior Vice President for Advancement

Matt McEathron is a New Englander at heart. Born and raised in Central Vermont, he spends his summers serving as a counselor at Deerfoot Lodge, a Christian outdoor adventure camp for young men. At Gordon, Matt has been a member of the Varsity Tennis Team and served as a part of Residence Life. Matt has also worked for the director of the Center for Faith and Inquiry and is a part of the Global Honors Institute. Matt is currently studying Economics and Biology and one day hopes that he can use his passion to help others by working for global non-profits.
BJ Osuagwu ‘20 | Office of the Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff

Chukwuemeka (BJ) Osuagwu is a first-generation college student who has a passion for the inner city. BJ is a Clarendon Scholar and a founding member of Afro Hamwe Club, where he currently serves as Co-President. In the community, BJ has served as a program director at The Boston Project Ministries, where he has been recognized in the newsletter. After Gordon, BJ plans to continue work in the inner-city as he pursues a law degree. He desires to go into immigration law and eventually pursue public office in the hopes of bringing a voice to underprivileged urban communities.
Salome Palmer ’21 | Office of the Provost

Majors: Music & Biblical Studies (Pike Scholar)
Salome Palmer entered Gordon as a member of the pilot Global Honors cohort. Since then, she has enjoyed serving as a teaching assistant for the Biblical Studies Department, a spiritual life group leader and a discipleship mentor. Outside of studies, Salome loves writing music, playing volleyball, traveling to Greece, and life coaching for holistic health. Salome is passionate about classical Christian education and cross-cultural ministry and is planning to initiate a classical education movement internationally upon completion of graduate school.
Sebastián Toro ’20 | Office of the Executive Vice President and Chief of Staff

Majors: Recreation, Sport, and Wellness & Business Administration
Growing up in Queens, NY, Sebastián Toro developed a passion for diversity, culture and the inner-city. Sebastián is a first-generation college student and a Clarendon Scholar. At Gordon, he has served on a mission’s trip to Mexico, served as a liaison for La Raza, and is currently the captain of the Cross-Country and Track & Field Teams. Outside of Gordon, he has worked for the New England Running Company. Sebastián hopes to serve/coach inner-city youth through either the New York Road Runners or the Boston Athletic Association. In his free time, he loves to dance, listen to Latin and hip hop music, and visit his family in Medellín, Colombia.
