Jared intends to pursue a career in asset management, a role where he can fuse his passions for leadership and finance. As a Vermonter, he is an outdoor enthusiast, eager to head to the mountains whenever an opportunity presents itself. On-campus, Jared is an AJ Gordon Scholar and President of the Business Club. He has previously served as a volunteer in the La Vida Rock Gym and an intern at Beauport Financial Services.
Nathaniel Boyer '21

Nate Boyer is a Clarendon Scholar from Pittsburgh, PA. At Gordon, he is a member of the Gordon Men’s Soccer Team, lead a mission trip to Guatemala, and interned in the Athletic Training Office. Nate also serves as one of the co-chairs for Dear Neighbor on campus. Outside of Gordon, he has worked for Emmaus Community of Pittsburgh as a direct service provider for adults with intellectual disabilities. Nate hopes to work as a Physician Assistant in the inner city. Outside of work and studies, Nate enjoys playing soccer, writing music, and traveling the world.
Katelyn Dyer '21

Katelyn Dyer is a senior studying art & design with a minor in business administration. She has had the opportunity to be a design intern at Emergence Church in New Jersey and work in the Advancement office at Timothy Christian School. At Gordon, Katelyn has loved working in admissions as a campus tour guide, serving on the orientation staff, being part of the student design agency, and working in the athletic office. Studying abroad with Gordon in Orvieto and playing lacrosse for the Fighting Scots have encouraged her passion as an artist and an athlete in pursuing a higher calling and building deep relationships with those around her.
Sarah-Catherine Hartiens ‘22

Sarah-Catherine is a West Virginia native with Cajun, Sicilian, and British roots, leading her to be known for building bridges across political lines through language acquisition and Southern hospitality. After volunteering with the American Field Service in Switzerland, she became fascinated with studying and developing creative global strategies as a representative of the Kingdom and the United States. At Gordon, she has served as Senior Admissions Hospitality intern, Global Honors Scholar, Creative Services administrative assistant, Fellow for the Center for Faith and Inquiry, teaching assistant for the French department, and Orientation Core Staff member. Her passion to help others reach their full potential extends around the world from developing supply chains in the Philippines, teaching French courses in Togo, to co-leading a Gordon Global Missions team in El Salvador.
Tiffany Laterra '22

Tiffany grew up in a Christ-centered family in Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey. The Lord has given her a deep love for others and a zealous passion for His Glory. Tiffany is an A.J. Gordon Scholar, and has enjoyed serving as the Student Director of Local Outreach, a managing partner for Acts of Love Homeless Ministry, and a mission team leader to New York City. Tiffany is passionate about advocating for the rights of the impoverished and those struggling with homelessness. Outside of her studies, Tiffany enjoys listening to worship music, volunteering at local non-profits, getting to know new people and their stories, and spending time with her family and friends. After Gordon, she hopes to get her Master’s in Social Work and pursue a career to serve the under-served in the inner city.
Alex Park ‘21

A former member of the Fighting Scot’s baseball team and Nathan R. Wood Fellow, Alex blends his passion for sport and ministry in hopes of one day being a front office executive in professional sport. Born and raised in New Jersey, Alex has co-led mission trips domestically in Massachusetts and internationally in Ecuador. Most recently he had spent a semester at Wheaton College on consortium, to broaden his Christian education experience and build his Christian network of professors and peers. Outside of studies, Alex loves meeting new people and using coffee as a means to do so. He has been a Student Ambassador, CCI marketing coordinator, Orientation Core staff member, and most recently a senior recruiting assistant.
Matheus Ramos '21

Matheus Ramos was born in Brazil and raised in the U.S. Matt is a first-generation college student and has always been a techie. During his high school years, he developed a passion for working with people with disabilities when he volunteered at Unified Sports and the Special Olympics. At Gordon, he has been a Student Ambassador, volunteered with Night to Shine, and served as a part of Residence Life. Matt hopes to combine his passions and develop software for people with disabilities in the future.
Sunny Shin '21

Sunny has spent the first twenty years of her life gaining a unique set of experiences by traveling around the world and attending schools in three different countries but considers herself a Pennsylvanian at heart. The one constant in her life is her passion for Mathematics, which has led her to be a Mathematics and Chemistry major at Gordon. She has held many leadership positions including raising funds for the Gordon Dance Team, as well as being a teaching assistant for several chemistry classes. She has been blessed to have been part of the Dance Team and is currently working at the Admissions Office. When not attending classes at Gordon, Sunny shares her passion for math by tutoring other students. Sunny’s goals are to graduate from Gordon and pursue a career in pharmacy that will enable her to travel around the world and use her skills in drug discovery to bring modern medicine to underdeveloped areas and relieve the suffering of afflicted people
Nathan Talesnick '22

Nathan Talesnick is a native of Central Florida that loves the sunshine and is a Southerner at heart. At Gordon, Nathan is a National Merit Scholar and a proud member of the Men’s Soccer Team. He has spent his summers working under a project manager at Jacobs Engineering, writing technical blogs for Web Solutions of America, proctoring standardized tests for high school students, and working soccer camps at Gordon. Nathan is currently studying Mathematics and Economics and plans on entering the fields of Data Analytics and Operations Research upon graduation, in the hopes of showing the light of Christ in a world of numbers.
Tucker Van Brunt '21

Tucker Van Brunt is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts with an interest in Marketing and Public Relations. He enjoys the thrill of a new challenge, employing new and innovative approaches to problem-solving, and exploring how technology and new developments can work to “capture the story” in the evolving marketing field. As a freshman, Tucker founded the Mascot Program as an instrument to help enhance onsite and offsite marketing endeavors, and increase school spirit and sense of community for students. Serving as a Student Ambassador to the Career and Connections Institute, he later helped develop the Social Media and Communications Committee. Tucker has worked to refine campus security and safety through cybersecurity trainings, the development of a program aimed at efficiently executing internal crisis communication, and working to assist with regular campus safety trainings. He hopes to continue serving in the marketing field, after Gordon.
Jabez Wen '21

Jabez Wen is a Forrester Venture Fellow from China. Her passion for justice and leadership led her to advocate for change through the Gordon College Student Association as student body vice president. At Gordon, Jabez was a finalist of Social Venture Challenge 2017-2018 and has been student ambassador, student manager, teaching assistant, and research assistant. She presented her research with a professor in the American Economic Association Annual Conference 2019. Jabez is also a recipient of the Presidential Honor and Lindsay Leadership Award. Outside of Gordon, Jabez worked as a business analyst intern at a fashion tea company Yuanjin Food LCC in China and serves as a worship team member for Citylife Presbyterian Church. After graduation, she looks forward to working in the finance industry. She also hopes to start special education schools in China and youth mentorship programs for international students in the future.
