Ana is currently in her junior year at Gordon College, double majoring in biology and psychology. She was born and raised in São Paulo, Brazil, and moved to the United States in 2021 to attend college. In addition to her role as a Presidential Fellow in the Office of Advancement under Dan Tymann, she works in the Office of Community Engagement as the Marketing and Design Intern. Although she is especially passionate about psychology research and conservation biology, Ana finds joy in immersing herself in different disciplines. She hopes to get a PhD degree in Psychology or Biology and continue living in the United States.
Julia Cappadona ’24

Julia Cappadona is a senior studying business administration and communications. She was previously a fellow for the Global Honors Program at Gordon where she led Bible studies and planned events to foster community for freshman scholars. Julia is passionate about marketing, which has brought her to compete in the AAF marketing competition through Gordon’s business club. She also enjoys playing REC-IM volleyball with friends every spring season. In the future, Julia hopes to combine her love of business with missions work abroad.
Ivyanna Carr ’24

Ivyanna was born in Fort Liberty (formerly known as Fort Bragg), North Carolina. However, she is a military kid, so she did not stay there for long; her family is now stationed near Sacramento, California. Apart from her role as a Presidential Fellow, she also works for Jenks Library and CCI. She is also a co-host for Outcast Podcast, an ISO student leader, and the chapter secretary for the Gordon chapter of Sigma Tau Delta English Honors Society. Some of her past commitments include being a Peer Mentor for The Great Conversation and a cohort member of the Jerusalem and Athens Forum.
Maisey Jefferson ’24

As a senior studying professional writing, Maisey has been involved in a variety of composition and editing roles throughout her time at Gordon. She served as a peer tutor in the Tupper Writing Center and has been both a Peer Mentor and the administrative intern for Gordon’s Great Conversation Program. She is currently the editor-in-chief of the Gordon Review, a student-run magazine on campus. Maisey has a passion for helping others discover and share ideas through writing—she would love to continue exploring roles in publishing, editing and tutoring after graduation.
Nathan Kim ’25

Nathan is a Global Honors Scholar from San Diego, California studying economics and business administration. At Gordon, Nathan’s involvements include being the President of Asian Student Union (A.S.I.A.), serving as a teaching assistant for Statistics in Business and Economics, and working as the CEO for the Business Club’s International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, cooking, and spending time with his friends. After college, Nathan’s goal is to become a strategy consultant and eventually start his own business.
Charlotte McNamee ’24

Charlotte is a senior at Gordon pursuing a Pike Honors Program in Historical Theology. She is delighted to be serving as a fellow under Dr. Sandra Doneski in Academic Affairs. In addition to her academic pursuits, she is cherishing the opportunity to mentor freshmen A.J. Gordon Scholars through bi-weekly curiosity meetings. She particularly enjoys the opportunity this provides for one-on-one mentorship. Charlotte also serves the graduate population of Gordon through her office work in the School of Education.
Joe Paccione ’25

Major: Business Administration and Finance

Joe Paccione is a junior studying business administration and finance. He is currently serving as a Presidential Fellow under the CFO and VP for Finance. Joe is a member of the men’s soccer team and enjoys coaching youth soccer camps at Gordon during the summers. Away from the soccer field, Joe has been a student worker in the accounting department for two years, enjoys participating in and leading several men’s groups on campus and is a member at Genesis North Shore Church. Joe is passionate about the intersection of business and faith, and plans for a career in finance, business, and entrepreneurship.
Allison Subat ’24
Hometown: Northborough, Massachusetts
Major: Biology and Psychology
Serving in the Office of Advancement
Allison is a senior studying biology and psychology. Outside of class, she serves as a captain of the women’s track and field team and supports students in her role as a teacher’s assistant. At La Vida’s basecamp in the Adirondacks, Allison ministered to first-year students as a trip leader. Recently she began helping in the children’s ministry at her church. In her free time, Allison loves crocheting, hiking, and playing games with her friends and family. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career as a guide at a wilderness therapy program.
Libby Trudeau ’24
Hometown: Newton, New Hampshire
Major: English and Linguistics
Serving in the Office of Advancement
Libby Trudeau has participated in multiple programs during her time at Gordon including the A.J. Gordon Scholars honors program, the Jerusalem and Athens Forum, and the study abroad program at Oxford University. Outside of academics, she has also been involved with other groups such as Orientation Core Staff and Gospel Choir as well as tutoring for the Academic Success Center and peer mentoring for The Great Conversation. Right now, she is working on a project with the Spanish Department to translate a devotional book from Spanish to English and edit it to be published.
