David is a junior studying Christian ministries and pursuing a Master of Divinity degree. He is serving in the Office of Diversity, Community, and Belonging, mentored by Dr. Nathaniel Perez. David is part of the Clarendon Scholars and Dokes Ministry Scholars honors programs. He has served as a tour guide for Gordon Admissions, as well as an Events Intern under Deborah Sullivan in the Admissions office. He also served as a section leader and chaplain under the God's Chosen Gospel Choir. Following graduation, he plans to finish his master's degree and pursue work in the parachurch ministry field, designing projects that build bridges in the church across ethnic and denominational boundaries.

As a junior studying theatre ministry, Abigail has been involved with a variety of groups and programs on campus. She serves as a program assistant for Gordon's theatre department and works as a member of the Accessibility in Theatre Team. A member of the Dokes Ministry Scholars program, she is beginning the process of earning her master’s degree in Christian ministries at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Abigail is passionate about learning where the arts and ministry can intersect, as well as how to best serve the changing and evolving needs of her community, now and after graduation.
Joshua Faircloth '25

Serving in the Office of Human Resources
Joshua is a senior studying psychology and biology, with a minor in neuroscience. This year, he is serving in the Office of Human Resources under Karen Davie. Joshua has held various campus jobs, including roles as a tutor, research assistant, and staff member at the La Vida rock gym. Outside of work, he can be seen performing with the Sweaty Tooth Madmen or playing violin for the Gordon Symphony Orchestra.
His passion for work stems from helping clients improve through counseling and developing strategies to navigate challenging situations. After graduation, Joshua plans to pursue a Ph.D. in neuroscience, stay local to the area, and get married to his fiancée.

Dominic is a dedicated Music Education major from rural Brookings, Oregon. He has deeply invested in the Gordon College community serving in Chapel Worship as the Special Music Intern, Campus Events Council as the Campus Events Coordinator, Dear Neighbor as the Events Ambassador, and God's Chosen Gospel Choir. With a vision to uplift and strengthen communities through music, Dominic aspires to harness the transformative power of art in his future career. Dominic’s experience reflects his belief in the importance of service, creativity, and connection, as he works towards building a brighter future through the gift of music. When he is not running around, you will find Dominic going on spontaneous adventures with friends, seeing live music, or exploring local restaurants.
Giovanna Johnson '26

Giovanna is a junior political science major from Stoneham, Massachusetts. As a Presidential Fellow this year, she is excited to serve in the Office of the President, working alongside her mentors Debbi Tuck and Mariah Lyle. Giovanna has had the opportunity to participate in a variety of opportunities across campus, such as the Jerusalem and Athens Forum and the Gordon Review, an on-campus student-run publication where she serves as Editor-in-Chief. Additionally, she is a reporter for two off-campus publications. In her free time, she enjoys writing, surfing, and spending time with her family. After graduation, Giovanna hopes to enter the public policy field with a focus on parental rights in education and constitutional law.

Ethan is a senior majoring in business management and finance with minors in data science and economics. He is serving as a presidential fellow in the office of finance under the CFO. Throughout his time at Gordon, he has been involved in many business programs such as Business Club, Investment Club, and CFO in the International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition. His professional interests reside in the financial service industry where he can pursue his passions for business development and quantitative analysis. He is looking forward to the continued development of these skills in the Presidential Fellow program.
Jane Lyu '25

Jane is a junior majoring in biology, but her passion for graphic design began in middle school. She has worked as a graphic designer for the Campus Events Council, Outcast Podcast, and various other clubs. Currently, she is gaining further experience in the Brand Marketing Office, where she collaborates with her mentors, Neal Ericsson and Steve Dagley, both experienced designers. Jane is passionate about creating effective communication through graphic design. After graduation, she plans to continue pursuing a career in biology, while incorporating her design skills into her future endeavors.
Richmond Obeng ‘25

Serving in the Office of the Chief Information Officer
Richmond is a junior studying computer science, with a passion for solving complex problems through software development. Throughout his time at Gordon, Richmond has been involved in a variety of technical and leadership roles. He is currently a presidential fellow in the Office of the Chief Information Officer, where he collaborates on strategic IT projects. In addition, he works as a Senior Dispatcher with the Gordon College Police and serves as a Residence Advisor. Richmond is also an intern as a Software Engineer at Zoe Medical Incorporated, contributing to the development of real-time data systems and automation. Additionally, he volunteers as a FIRST Tech Challenge Mentor, helping students with robot programming and problem-solving. Richmond is eager to continue exploring opportunities in software engineering, product management, and technology strategy after graduation.
Johnny Paul-Faina ‘26

Johnny is a junior Global Honors Scholar studying studio art and creative writing. He was born in the United States but grew up in Romania as a third culture kid. Apart from serving in the President’s Office, he also works as an Area Coordinator in Residence Life and as a Teaching Assistant for Old Testament. Some of his past involvements include leading Outcast Podcast as a co-host and International Student Leader, participating as a member of the Jerusalem Athens Forum, and performing with the Jazz Ensemble at Gordon College. Johnny is passionate about cross-cultural conversations surrounding the intersection between faith and the arts. He is planning to pursue a master’s in education through the Gordon Plus program. After graduating, he plans to work as an artist, writer, and missionary in a cross-cultural learning environment.
Eliza Weigelt '25

Eliza is a senior violin performance major passionate about music as an opportunity for communion across time and place. As a military child and third culture kid, Eliza currently calls Washington, D.C. home but has lived in Okinawa, Japan, and Naples, Italy, and has strong familial ties in Adelaide, Australia. Eliza has explored a variety of academic interests during her time at Gordon as an A. J. Gordon Scholar and a member of the Jerusalem & Athens Forum, as well as cultivating her love of performance and music history through chamber music and as a candidate for Departmental Honors. Outside of her academic pursuits, Eliza co-leads the Catacombs worship ministry and serves as the Music Design Assistant and as a Music History Teaching Assistant. Upon graduation, Eliza looks forward to pursuing graduate education in musicology and opportunities to use music to celebrate diversity, foster unity, and ultimately glorify God.
