Denise M. Campoli joined the Gordon faculty in the spring of 2014 as a Spanish adjunct. She has taught Spanish and French at the middle and high school level, led student and adult trips to Spain, France and England, participated in NEASC (now called NECHE) accreditation teams in New England and internationally, and served as Foreign Language Department Chair in Amesbury, MA. Professor Figueroa is originally from Chile but has lived in the U.S. for over six years. She joined the Gordon faculty in the fall of 2022 as a Spanish adjunct. She became interested in intercultural communication as a child and later on married an American native, Dr. Jeff Stevenson, with whom she's raising three bilingual children.
