Through the Spanish program at Gordon, you will work to achieve language proficiency as you also study the historical development and cultural expression of Spanish-speaking countries. Why study Spanish at Gordon?

In Gordon’s Spanish program, students can study abroad for a semester. During semesters when you study on campus, Gordon’s location in the multicultural Greater Boston area offers opportunities for involvement in local Spanish-speaking communities and church congregations.

Go the extra mile!

Join the Spanish club and enjoy events it hosts throughout the year. Grab your lunch and join the weekly Spanish language table. Attend cultural events in the Greater Boston area, and participate in one of Gordon’s service learning trips to a Spanish-speaking country—including the Dominican Republic, Mexico and Nicaragua. Given your linguistic skills and cultural insight as a Spanish major, you might even consider initiating a service-learning trip to another Spanish-speaking location.
