About:
Abby Baier, Instructor Teaching Professor of Spanish at Gordon College graduated with a BA in English Literature from Gordon College in 2022, then continued to earn an MA degree in Spanish Literature at Baylor University in 2024. She has tutored English essay writing extensively at both universities and taught several lower-level Spanish courses at Baylor as part of the master’s program. She defended her thesis on representations of maternity in nineteenth-century Cuba and will continue her research focus on female authors and their works in Latin American literature.
