For nearly three decades, Myron E. “Mike” Ullman has led five major global enterprises in the United States, France, and Hong Kong. Mr. Ullman is a distinguished international leader in retail, property management and development, hotel management, computer services, and public transport. He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors of J.C. Penney Company. Mr. Ullman is actively engaged as a board member at Gordon College and Starbucks Coffee Company and chairman of Mercy Ships International.

David Brooks became an op-ed columnist for The New York Times in September 2003. He is currently a commentator on “The PBS NewsHour,” NPR’s “All Things Considered” and NBC’s “Meet the Press.” He is the author of Bobos In Paradise: The New Upper Class and How They Got There, On Paradise Drive: How We Live Now (And Always Have) in the Future Tense, and The Social Animal: The Hidden Sources of Love, Character, and Achievement. Mr. Brooks also teaches at Yale University, and is a member of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences.
