Celebration of Faithful Leadership: 2012

On Monday, May 7, Gordon College's president, cabinet and trustees, together with a number of faculty, staff and students, joined prominent community members at the Taj in Boston for the inaugural Gordon Celebration of Faithful Leadership. This gathering honored the devoted life and work of George F. Bennett with the establishment of the George F. Bennett Leadership Award, which will recognize the career, civic life and legacy of one distinguished individual each year. The dinner also raised over $500,000 for the George F. Bennett Scholarship for Outstanding Student Leadership, expanding vital scholarship assistance for talented and highly motivated Gordon College students, whose work after graduation will advance free enterprise as well as serve the common good.
