Jon Levenson

Dr. Jon Levenson is the Albert A. List Professor of Jewish Studies at Harvard University. He has a strong interest in the philosophical and theological issues involved in biblical studies, especially the relationship of premodern modes of interpretation to modern historical criticism. Much of his work centers on the relationship between Judaism and Christianity, both in antiquity and in modernity, and he has long been active in Jewish-Christian dialogue.

McAnaney Professor of History at the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Is-haq Akintola is Professor of Islamic Eschatology at Lagos State University. He is a human rights activist and preacher. He established the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) in 1994 to address the violation of the rights of Muslims in Nigeria and beyond. He also founded the Telly Da'wah Embassy to preach the peaceful message of Islam.

Beth Maynard has served the Episcopal Church as a parish priest and a university chaplain in West Virginia and Massachusetts. Before becoming the 11th Rector of Emmanuel in 2014, she founded and led Mill Street House, an ecumenical neo-monastic community north of Boston. She also served as an adjunct instructor in liturgy and spirituality at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
