Gordon College requires the following minimum credits in residency. Residency is defined as enrollment in Gordon College courses either at the Wenham campus or in programs for which Gordon College grants the academic credit (such as the Orvieto or other programs of Gordon College or the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities). Exceptions to the residency requirement include official consortium visitor exchanges or cross-registration at NECCUM institutions.
Residency for a Degree
A minimum of 32 semester hours are required with 32 of the final 40 credits in residency.
Residency in Each Major
A minimum of 20 semester hours must be earned through Gordon College for each major.
Residency in Each Minor
A minimum of fifty percent of any minor semester hours must be earned through Gordon College for each minor.
Latin or Degree Honors
A minimum of 42 semester hours must be earned through Gordon College to be awarded Latin graduation honors. Less than 42 Gordon College semester hours will be graduated with Distinction.
