If you are a high school string player (violin, viola, cello, double bass), this is an exciting opportunity to rehearse and perform with the Gordon Symphony Orchestra. We invite you to come observe and learn alongside our orchestra. Experience the life of a Gordon College music student and be inspired!
The Gordon College Symphony Orchestra will be playing a concert of works by female composers: Molly Joyce, Soon Hee Newbold and Louise Farrenc.
You will have the opportunity to join us performing the last movement of Symphony No. 3 by Farrenc.

If you are a violin, viola, cello or bass player and would like to rehearse and perform with the Gordon Symphony Orchestra for a night, please register by October 16.
After your registration, Dr. Southard will personally reach out to you and provide you with music and practice resources to prepare for the concert.

Registration deadline to play with the Gordon Symphony Orchestra (violin, viola, cello or bass): All registrations must be received by October 16.
Registration to join us for the event without playing with the Gordon Symphony Orchestra: All registrations must be received by October 26.
