Alyson has worked in the ASC for over 20 years. She has a B.A. in Social Work and Sociology from Gordon College and an M.A. in Counseling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.

Pam Mulvihill, M.S.W.
Associate Director, Academic Success Center

Pam has worked in the Academic Success Center since 2005. She previously worked for the Admissions Office and was a Resident Director at Gordon. She has a B.A. in Psychology from Gordon and a Masters in Social Work from Boston University.

Judy Swanson, M.A.
Academic Counselor and International/ELL Specialist 

Judy Swanson has loved working with students in the ASC as an Academic Counselor since 2015. She meets primarily with International Students and English Language Learners. Judy has a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Colorado and a M.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language from Salem State University.

Pam Lazarakis
Director, Professional and Career Development

Pam has provided career development leadership and program development at Gordon for 20 years and prior to that held leadership roles in the Admissions recruitment and enrollment areas. In 2019-2020, her work focuses specifically on identifying and building unique career programming for students to complement the academic advising of ASC. This includes career exploration, pathways to utilizing the resources of the Career & Connection Institute, post-graduation planning with seniors, early-stage planning for first and second-year students including campus employment and internship readiness and connecting students with employers and hiring events as well as alumni of the College for industry advice.
