At international Christian schools, you need to be equipped and supported to build thriving communities now more than ever. At Gordon, our faculty have been in your shoes and each course is taught intentionally by experienced international school leaders. Your peers know the intricacies and nuances of what it takes to serve in Christian schools around the world and you’ll be learning alongside a cohort of peer international education professionals.
With M.A. in Leadership and Ed.S. in Leadership options, our highly relevant and immediately applicable coursework means you will quickly be empowered to excel in your leadership and make a difference in your school.

COHORT MODEL:

Through online courses coordinated by timezone and in-person residencies, study alongside a small cohort of students in varying leadership positions within Christian schools around the globe. The cohort model allows each student to learn from a group of colleagues and form deep and lasting friendships.

EXPERT FACULTY:

GLOBAL CURRICULUM:

Covers the full range of administrative roles and responsibilities, while engaging in real-world, real-time, relevant projects specific to international Christian schools.

Choose your degree

Whether you choose to earn a Master of Arts in Leadership (M.A.) or Educational Specialist in Leadership (Ed.S.), you will gain the skills you need to serve your community with confidence, competence and compassion.

Master of Arts in Leadership (M.A.)

Take the next step in your career, earning your master’s degree in Leadership. Students that have completed a bachelors degree prior, should apply for the M.A. degree option. Both the Master of Arts in Leadership and the Education Specialist in Leadership students are part of the same cohort and take the same courses.

Educational Specialist in Leadership (Ed.S.)

Take the next step in your career by earning your Educational Specialist degree in Leadership. Those students that have completed a prior master’s degree should apply for the Education Specialist degree option. Both the Master of Arts in Leadership and the Education Specialist in Leadership students are part of the same cohort and take the same courses. The Educational Specialist degree recognizes prior completed graduate work and provides advanced standing for future educational opportunities.

You can fit this into your life! The MA in Leadership program is designed for working professionals. Synchronous and asynchronous online classes during the semester and one in-person residency create a learning experience that fosters community and flexibility. The richness of learning happens together. Each cohort kicks off with a two-week summer residency take at Gordon College in Wenham, Massachusetts (northeast of Boston). This in-person time together provides an opportunity to bring virtual classmates together for intensive and experiential learning, mentoring, and networking as a cohort.
Build off of this foundation as you continue to learn together virtually, widening your perspective through your classmates’ eyes.
