Visitor FAQs

Prospective Students FAQs

We are so excited to host you during your visit to Gordon College! Read on for answers to questions we often hear from prospective students planning their trips.

1. What types of visits can I choose from, and when are they available?

We offer a few types of visits:

  • PERSONALIZED WEEKDAY VISITS (Daily Visits)
We will customize your visit to fit your personal interests. Your visit can include a professor appointment, a coach appointment, a private or semi-private tour of campus, lunch etc. Check-in times vary. Our goal is to work with visitors, not limit them, so we can make your time with us as beneficial as possible!
  • ADMISSIONS EVENT DAYS
Open house visits typically fall on Mondays and Fridays and entail a full day. These are open to large groups of prospective students and their families, and visitors all follow a pre-determined schedule.
  • ACADEMIC DEPARTMENT DAYS
Designed to give you a glimpse of specific academic programs at Gordon, these academic department days give students and families a deep-dive into experiential learning opportunities, academic rigor, and campus community at Gordon.
  • OFF HOURS VISITS
Designed to give you a glimpse of campus, these “off hour” options will give you the chance to tour campus, eat our beautiful dining hall, and get a feel for life at Gordon after the class day is done either during an evening tour or on a low-key Saturday morning. Off hour visits are ideal for students and families who may not be able to make it to campus during the work-day or work-week.
