You love theatre. You imagine a creative life for yourself. Perhaps you also question how God can use the joy you experience on stage for His work in the world? Join us for Gordon's Summer Academy Acting Studio where we will explore that question, while developing tangible theatre skills. Participants will learn from theatre professionals, while specifically developing monologues ideal for college applications and regional auditions. The week will culminate in a performance in Gordon's Margaret Jensen Theatre.
THT171 - Group-intensive laboratory designed to explore special topics in theatre including but not limited to voice production, movement, stage combat, dialects, acting styles, theatre design, musical theatre, interpretive studies for historical enactor. 1-Credit

Join us on a walk through time as we encounter art and culture from the ancient and medieval worlds through the American Revolution. This summer course makes the most of world class museums and key historical sites of greater Boston to explore history, faith, art and civilization. This course is a hybrid, combining online instruction with one week of in-person tours.
Dates: July 1–27, Hybrid Online/In-Person. Students must be able to commute to campus the week of July 15-19 from 8 am-5 pm.
