Praying With the Poets

Whether it's the psalms, other passages of poetry in scripture, liturgical prayers, or other poetry from throughout the centuries, the poetic prayers of those who have walked this journey of faith before us can serve as a vessel for our own prayers when we don't know how to pray. Stop by Chester's on Thursday afternoon to pick up a poem– prayerfully curated to meet you where you are– to pray with or take with you as you go.

Join us as we listen together while engaging our minds and bodies through writing and puzzling, to reflect on the Spirit’s invitation to love our neighbor.
