Off-campus Job Posting at Gordon College

Please Note: Off-Campus jobs will not be posted between May 10, 2024 and September 3, 2024. Posting will resume in the fall semester.

How do I post a job for Gordon students?

Our student employment job board has moved to Handshake! The process remains the same, but the platform is easier to use. Please see the steps below to post a job on the Gordon Handshake. This job posting process is completed internally by the CCI office. You must complete a form for your job to be posted.

Community job postings are for individuals in the Gordon community who would like to hire a current Gordon student for their personal use. If you are an employer or organization wishing to hire Gordon students under your organization, please go to our Handshake page to learn how to make a Handshake account.

Below you will find two freeforms that you can complete to post a job.

  • If you are not a verified poster, you can use the "New Local Community Job Posting" form to begin the process of posting a job.
  • If you are a verified poster, you can use the "Returning Local Community Job Posting" form to post another employment opportunity.

How do I become a verified job poster?

To post to the job board, you must become a verified account. We ask all employers to become verified posters in order to help us protect students. You can become an approved poster by providing us with one of the following forms of verification:

  • Self-identification as a member of the Gordon community (current/former staff, faculty, or student)
  • Written reference from a current or former Gordon student
  • Written reference from a Gordon staff or faculty member
  • Written reference from a staff member of a local church
  • Written reference from another employer approved to post on the Student Employment job board

We ask that the reference is sent directly from the reference to our email at  and not forwarded from you, the poster. We will not approve your post until the reference is received and confirmed appropriately. We will inform you when you have been approved, and you may post multiple jobs after this verification process.

After we have received your reference and it is verified, we will post your job to the Handshake website. It will be posted under an employer account called “Gordon College Community Jobs” so the students have access to all of the jobs in one place. Student applications will be sent directly to your email with all of their information to contact them if interested.

Please email us for any assistance or guidance.
