Selections of 16th- and 17th-century sources relating to Shakespeare, featured in a special event marking the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s works: Vining’s Shakespeare: Highlights from the Edward Payson Vining Collection. Curated jointly by curator Mary-Ellen Smiley and French Prof. Damon DiMauro. One of the important works on display was an original 1632 Shakespeare second folio featuring all of Shakespeare’s plays.
