Get Involved with CCI
The Career and Connection Institute at Gordon College bridges the liberal arts to the world of work in fresh and exciting ways. Guided by a single centering principle—the Hebrew word avodah, which encompasses work, worship and service—CCI focuses on four main areas: formation, intention, experiences and community. Its programming is available for everyone in the Gordon community to better discern their calling and develop professional and workplace skills. Here’s how you can get involved:
Generously funded by Gordon supporters, the Career and Connection Institute’s space on the second floor of Jenks Library features collaborative work areas, interview rooms, staff offices, innovative technology and a new entrance from the main quad. Tour the new space at CCI’s open house and dedication during Homecoming and Family Weekend, October 2–3.
Gordon uses the Handshake platform, an industry leader in college career services, as a one-stop-shop for job and internship posting. It’s an ideal place to connect with Gordon students and alumni, whose character and integrity make them exceptional employees.
In addition to sharing job and internship opportunities through Handshake, there are lots of other ways to lend a hand to Gordon students and alumni looking for industry access and experience.
As we equip students for their careers, we value the prayers of the Gordon community—specifically for 1) connections to internship hosts and employers, 2) valuable experiences for our students that help them understand what God is calling them to, and 3) lives of flourishing and thriving for members of our community.
Donations to the Institute help equip Gordon students for lives of flourishing in their work, worship and service. A gift of any amount undergirds and enhances CCI’s unique approach to personal and professional preparation. Give today ➔
