The Gordon College Calling and Career Conference seeks to advance each student’s preparation for entering a world of faithful work, service, and leadership through:
Exploration of the purpose and theology of Work
Discovery of their personal strengths and affinities and how they are developed in College through experience
Practice in professional skills and assets for engaging their world effectively
Conference Learning Outcomes
Students will develop a deeper sense of God’s calling and how that connects to their work in the world
Students will understand their God-given gifts and the types of fields they may effectively employ these skills
Students will produce a current resume which can be utilized for summer internships and other employment opportunities
Students will meet with alumni and parents in industries of interest to learn more about various career paths
Students will develop networking and professional skills to equip them in the interview process for internships and jobs
Students will reflect on their personal and professional paths and establish internship/career goals
