Federal Work-Study (FWS) is need-based and gives students first preference to on-campus jobs. When students get a job with FWS, the money they earn is not automatically applied to tuition—it goes right into the student’s pocket. The student chooses how to spend it—whether on books, groceries or bills—and can work up to 20 hours per week when classes are in session (up to 40 hours per week during official College breaks).
The Student Employment Office oversees job listings for this program and is available to help students find jobs.
