Students who are qualifying veterans, or the qualifying dependents of a veteran, and are interested in benefiting from the Yellow Ribbon Program must complete this online application annually. Eligibility for the Yellow Ribbon Program is limited and is determined on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is important to complete the application as early as possible.
The award amount will be determined on an individual basis and is based on eligible expenses (tuition and fees) and the maximum Chapter 33: Post 9/11 benefit.
To be eligible for this award, you must qualify for 100% eligibility under the Chapter 33: Post 9/11 GI Bill® benefit. You must provide the SFS Office with a copy of your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) from the Department of Veterans Affairs to validate your benefit level.
