Chapel Bands

Two student-led bands lead worship music during morning and evening chapel gatherings throughout the school year. Bands hold auditions in early September and members commit to being part of the band for the school year.

The chapel bands lead music during many morning chapel gatherings and during the Monday evening gatherings. These bands work closely with the Director of Christian Life and Worship to plan the gathering, coordinating music to fit with that day's theme or topic. Bands practice at least once a week and meet outside of their normal practice times for fellowship and discussion.

Catacombs Worship Team

The Catacombs worship team plans and leads Catacombs worship gatherings each Sunday night during the academic year. These student-led worship gatherings are held in the College Chapel, lit only by candlelight, and led entirely without the aid of a sound system. Auditions are held during the first few weeks of September and the team meets weekly for rehearsal, planning, prayer and fellowship throughout the school year.

Heart of David

Heart of David is a group of artists who use their energies and talents to grow in and celebrate their relationship with God while connecting to their community in worship. Dancers rehearse weekly to prepare for performances in chapel services, special events such as Day of Prayer, Symposium, and the annually held Dance Ministry Showcase, as well as campus events that vary each year. Regardless of previous training, members of Dance Ministry work to pursue a deeper connection with the Creator through the art of dance.
