ECUADOR
Located in South America, Ecuador is a beautiful country full of beautiful people. We will be serving in Bellavista - a small village in the Amazon a few hours away from the capital city, Quito. Once in Bellavista, we will be working with Pastor Ramiro doing service projects, interacting with the community through home visits, running a small version of a VBS, and organizing events for the youth. Most importantly, we will be creating relationships with the people of Bellavista.
From there, we will travel to Quito to work with the Quito Quest team, an organization that helps to bring teams to Ecuador. There, we will do service projects on the Quito Quest property and learn about their many ministries. The team in Ecuador doesn't call this a missions trip, but rather a missions experience, because you will be able to grow, learn, and bring back to your community the wonders you learned of while you were away. Applications are due by September 30, 2024.
Trip Dates: January 1 - January 11, 2025

NORTHERN IRELAND | Peace, Conflict, and Reconciliation Experience
We will be sending a team to experience the beauty and culture, along with God's work in the great city of Belfast in Northern Ireland. We will be learning from and working with The 174 Trust, a reconciliation and peacemaking organization and long-term Gordon partner.
Participants will learn about the long history of division and conflict in Northern Ireland and its impact on the people who call it home. We will interact with local politicians, community members, and peacemakers who navigate the complex social dynamics of a conflict that goes back hundreds of years. We will be the hands and feet of Jesus as we learn from and participate in the various ministries and partnerships that do the work of building a strong, just, and peaceful society. This transformative trip will explore the role of Christians and the Church in post-conflict societies and will offer insight into how students can navigate peace and conflict in their personal lives and in broader contexts into the future! Applications are due by September 30, 2024.
