Todd Chesebro

About:

Todd began his career in academia later in life. Choosing to raise a family before completing his undergraduate degree, Todd worked many different jobs in the service sector, working his way into management positions. In 2009, the downturn in the economy resulted in Todd’s life taking a radical turn of events. He completed his B.S. degree in Finance and began a career helping students understand the intricacies of math and science. 

In 2011, believing he needed more tools in his teaching repertoire, Todd attended the University of Texas at Arlington to earn a master’s degree in Education. The focus on curriculum and instruction helped Todd understand the best way to construct lessons and reach his students. 

Todd and his wife determined early in their marriage to serve Christ first and foremost.  The desire to go where He led and to make disciples in the places they lived led Todd, his wife Valerie, and three of their five kids to move to China. Todd served as a secondary teacher to international students in China and later in Taiwan. 

During his tenure overseas Todd completed his Ph.D. in Business Administration/Finance. His dissertation focused upon Option Price Theory, examining the factors that influence the SPX option price. Returning to the United States in 2020 Todd has pursued teaching with the passion to train up the next generation of Christian leaders in finance and business.
