John Lowry’s ’94 Ultimate Adventure: Rowing 3,275 Miles Across the Atlantic  

On June 1 John Lowry ’94 will undertake his greatest challenge yet: being a part of the first- ever human-powered rowboat Atlantic crossing from Boston to London. Over the course of about 45 days, he and three others will row 24 hours a day to cover 3,275 miles across the Atlantic Ocean.

Examining Christian Responses to Gender-Based Violence: Crum Lecture 2024 Insights by Dr. Meredith Whitnah 

On Thursday, April 11, Gordon College hosted its annual Crum Lecture, a 30-year legacy event in honor the late Professor Terrelle B. Crum, who was the dean of Barrington College before it merged with Gordon in 1985. This year Whitnah presented the lecture, “Faith and the Fragility of Justice: Religious Responses to Gender-Based Violence in South Africa.”
