13th Annual Undergraduate Symposium on Sustainability and the Environment

Professor Irv Levy and ten students recently traveled to Bridgewater State University to participate in the 13th Annual Undergraduate Symposium on Sustainability and the Environment. The students presented four posters during the event: "Furthering Green Chemistry Education Through College Outreach", "Microwave Synthesis in the Organic Laboratory", "Green Extraction of Lycopene from Tomato", and "Greener Art Studio Challenge". Congratulations to the students, Mollie Enright, David Parr, Stacy Strobel, Logan Walsh, Ian Commins, Stephanie Galda, Elizabeth Fjellstad, Daruenie Andujar, Luke O'Donnell, and Sarah Huisenga, who were excellent representatives of Gordon College at this regional symposium.
