Since the intent of the liberal arts education offered at Gordon College is to graduate men and women distinguished both by intellectual maturity and Christian character, it is clear that living in residence will be an integral part of your total Gordon experience. It is in our residence halls that academic, social and spiritual life blend together as in few other campus environments. Living in this type of community is both challenging and fulfilling. The residence halls provide a community living and learning experience that will allow you to integrate biblical principles (like those above) with daily living.
When will I receive my housing assignment?
Typically these are mailed to you in July. When you receive it, it will include your residence hall and your roommate’s name and contact information. You will receive updates about the housing process through GC101.
What if I’m having trouble contacting my roommate?
It could be that their contact information is not up to date or has been entered incorrectly into our database. You should feel welcome to try to contact them over social networking sites (e.g. Facebook) or feel free to call the Center For Student Development at 978.867.4263.
What if my assigned roommate decides to attend another college?
This happens occasionally, and if it happens to your roommate, CSD will work to assign you a new roommate as soon as possible.
What will my residence hall look like?
