Mandy Liu

Mandy Liu teaches classes in Macroeconomics, Econometrics, Economic Development, and International Economics. Her primary research interests lie at the intersection of development and health economics with a concentration on human capital, and child and adolescent well-being. Within these areas her research examines the role of environmental shocks, health investments, and school infrastructure in influencing child and adolescent well-being in developing countries. Mandy earned Ph.D. in economics from the University of New Mexico. Before graduate school, she worked as a journalist in China. Mandy is passionate about helping students achieve their own success by motivating their interests to learn and delivering study and research strategies for their future career.
