Karen Wrobbel, Ed.D.

About:

Karen Wrobbel, EdD, worked in international Christian schools for approximately 20 years, living in Spain, Venezuela, and Costa Rica, where she served as a teacher, administrator, school board member, and children's education coordinator for her agency.  Her book, The Globally Mobile Family's Guide to Educating Children Overseas, helps families make wise choices among the various educational options that are available to them in their international residences.  Dr. Wrobbel remains active in international education through leading peer review accreditation teams in international schools, volunteer work with two organizations that serve globally mobile families, and as a Senior Consultant with the Global School Consulting Group. Immediately prior to coming to Gordon, Dr. Wrobbel was Dean of the College and Graduate School and Professor of Education at Trinity International University (Illinois).  She lives in the suburbs of Chicago.
