World Languages Education

Overview

Launch your career teaching Spanish or French to students in grades PreK-6 and 5-12. This program combines advanced language study with pedagogy courses to prepare you to effectively instruct the next generation of multilingual communicators.

The Master of Education in world languages offers a diverse curriculum to equip you with essential skills and knowledge for a successful teaching career. Courses cover topics such as the structure and function of human language, language acquisition and teaching methods. Our classes foster an appreciation for differing cultural perspectives and equip teachers with tools to create culturally responsive learning environments.

By completing this comprehensive program, graduates will be well-prepared to inspire and empower students to become confident, proficient communicators in a globalized world.
