Mathematics and Science Education

Overview

Get equipped to inspire the next generation of STEM thinkers with a Master of Education in mathematics and science (grades 5–8). This program prepares aspiring and current educators for initial or professional licensure, providing them with a strong foundation in mathematics and science, along with teaching skills to effectively engage middle school students.

A Multidisciplinary Approach to STEM Education

Our comprehensive curriculum integrates key concepts from mathematics and various scientific disciplines. Explore the interconnectedness of STEM fields through courses like Astrobiology, Nutritional Biochemistry and Mathematics of Science. Develop your mathematical expertise through courses such as Mathematics, Quantitative Reasoning and Mathematical Inquiry. Our interdisciplinary approach will empower you to create engaging and relevant learning experiences for your students.
