About:

David A. Wells, EdD, served as head of school for two international Christian schools and one secular international school over a span of twenty-two years. David and his wife Lois have lived in Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, and Ecuador for over thirty years. While in Puerto Rico, David earned his doctorate in Educational Administration and Supervision, studying in Spanish at an internationally accredited university. He currently works/ministers as a consultant and leadership trainer for international schools around the globe (over one hundred schools in 40+ countries), with his primary focus on organizational structures, systems, and leadership at the ownership, governance, and head of school levels. David is co-founder and Principal of the GLOBAL School Consulting Group consisting of twenty-four affiliated Christian consultants and eight partner companies that serve schools in the Americas, Africa, Europe, and Asia. Dr. Wells regularly leads accreditation teams in international schools and has experience many accrediting agencies, including ACSI. David was a founding Commissioner of the ACSI Latin America Accreditation Commission which developed and implemented an accreditation protocol for national and bilingual schools in the region. In addition, David chairs the board of a school in Nicaragua, a school system in Vietnam, and a foundation in Ecuador. David and Lois recently relocated to Massachusetts from Ecuador and are experiencing culture shock as first time New England residents.
