About:

Dr. Kabiawu's areas of expertise include Investments, Corporate Finance, Behavioral Finance, and Quantitative Analysis. Her career spans academia and industry, where she has developed and validated complex financial models using programming languages such as Python, VBA, PHP, and Perl, alongside data analysis tools like Stata, SQL, and Excel. A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) Charterholder, she integrates rigorous financial analysis and real-world applications into her teaching, having delivered over 2,800 lectures in finance, accounting, and statistics at both undergraduate and graduate levels, on topics including Statistics, Investments, Corporate Finance, Financial Modeling, Advanced Excel, and Accounting.

In addition to her teaching, Dr. Kabiawu has published research on Corporate Social Responsibility in the oil and gas industry and factors affecting graduate school completion rates. Her industry experience includes roles at IBM and Ford Motor Company, where she developed programming and financial systems applications to improve efficiency and accuracy in reporting. She also serves on the Board of Trustees for Empowerment Academy Charter School in New Jersey, contributing to both academic and professional communities while fostering a dynamic, inclusive learning environment for her students.
