About:
Dr. Celestin was French educated from PK through college. He previously served as a French educator/tutor to high school students in Haiti and in Spring Valley, NY. While he was a student at Alliance Theological Seminary, he joined the faculty of Nyack College as an Adjunct Professor of Foreign Language. He taught French from 1999 to 2000 while he was the leader of the Christian Education and Youth Ministries at the French Speaking Baptist Church of Spring Valley. Prior to serving at Nyack, he was on the faculty of Ecole Evangelique de la Bible as an Old Testament and Christian Education Professor (1992-1999). In 2002, he answered his pastoral calling by joining Pastor J. Abède Alexandre at Tabernacle Baptist Congregation (TBC) of Boston, MA, where he serves the Lord as assistant pastor. Upon arriving in New England, Dr. Celestin also joined the faculty of Lighthouse Baptist Christian Academy in Holbrook, MA as a fourth grade teacher. From 2003 to 2007, he served as Adjunct Professor of Foreign Language at Gordon. Between 2007 and 2016, he was an Adjunct Professor of Counseling and Coordinator of the Master of Arts in Counseling at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, where he continues to teach. Dr. Celestin is also pursuing a doctoral degree in Psychoanalysis (Psya.D) in Society and Culture at Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis.
