Whether it’s playing, watching or exploring the business behind teams, big games and shocking trades, you live for sports. Now your passion can be your career with opportunities to work in professional, international, intercollegiate, high school, community and youth sports.

Combine your business skills with your love for sports by pursuing a degree in sport management from Gordon’s School of Business. With academics fully founded in Christian faith and principles, you’ll be prepared to make social change in the sport industry and broader society with hands-on courses in finance, governance and event management.

Our faculty are industry experts passionate about sports and management. They’ll help you become a critical thinker who can solve sports industry issue through the lens of biblical principles.

Sport Management Courses

Graduates of the Sport Management major will be equipped to be servant-leaders in all areas of the sports world. The major emphasizes Christian thinking about the role of sport in the development of individuals and communities. Students in the Sport Management major apply foundational business management skills to the finance, marketing, and management of sport organizations while building a deep understanding of their legal, cultural, and ethical issues.
