Entrepreneurship & Innovation

Overview

Research suggests that university graduates who complete entrepreneurship curriculum are more likely to succeed with a new business venture than students who have not. Whether you’re interested in launching your own company or supporting an existing start-up, an entrepreneurship and innovation degree will prepare you to implement grassroots solutions backed by practical, creative thinking grounded in faith-based principles.

Why study entrepreneurship and innovation at Gordon?

As the only nationally ranked, multidenominational Christian college in New England, you’ll be hard-pressed to find another institution in the Boston area focused on educational opportunities that complement the vocational needs of innovators and entrepreneurs from a Christ-centered worldview.

Our experienced faculty and Entrepreneurs in Residence will teach you how to sustain innovation, assemble people to help your project, raise financial resources, find physical space and adapt to marketplace realities. Your coursework will help you apply design thinking to different issues and think entrepreneurially about the strategic and operational aspects of any business.

What can Christians bring to entrepreneurship and innovation?

There will always be a new area of need to help develop. Christian entrepreneurs have the special opportunity of using their God-given talents to problem solve by starting and sustaining ventures that create value for all people. Their unique Christ-centered perspective can inspire others towards a new way of thinking that leads to lasting, impactful change.
