Business Analytics

Overview

The role of data in business strategy is rapidly increasing, as is the demand for data-driven solutions to support decision-making in business. Companies need people who know how to unpack data, shape strategies and ultimately help their organizations succeed, but also have the wisdom and compassion of Jesus to make their business thrive.

A business analytics degree from Gordon's School of Business will strengthen your data analysis skills for real-world problems using algorithms and advanced computing tools to improve business performance.

Why study business analytics at Gordon?

Our faculty are experts in business analytics and dedicated Christians. With a student to professor ratio of 11:1, you’ll develop competency in statistical thinking, mathematical modeling, machine-learning software tools, data analysis and quantitative evaluation for business problems—with dedicated support for your professors in both academic and spiritual growth.

You’ll also refine your critical thinking and interpersonal communication skills, enabling you to work well in a fast paced, diverse business workforce. With our location on the North Shore of Boston and alumni connections in organizations like Nuance Communications, Mitre, Alaska Airlines, Disney and HubSpot, you’ll have access to multiple pathways for internship and career connections.

What can Christians bring to business analytics?

Companies rely on accurate data, and with technology evolving every day, Christian analytics professionals can bring integrity and honorable problem solving to the workplace. By helping steward and appropriately use data, analytics can be used to serve others and advance God’s Kingdom.
