Resources for Going Global

Whether you're studying abroad for a semester, participating in a Global Internship, or taking advantage of a short-term seminar opportunity, there are things you need to know about preparation, international health insurance through Gordon, general health information, and much more.

Apply to the International Risk Management Committee for Travel Permission

Required of all faculty, staff and students planning an overseas trip that occurs with a college department or program (e.g. Dokes, missions) or for credit (internship). For faculty and staff, this includes grant-funded or business international trips. Applicants for Global Education programs do not need to complete this.

  1. Apply to the IRMC
International Health Insurance

Gordon College in cooperation with Cultural Insurance Services International (CISI) and the ACE American Insurance Company is pleased to offer health and safety insurance to all participants (students, faculty and staff) in Gordon College’s international programs and placements.
