Our Mission
In a community of diverse learners, the Academic Success Center equips students to achieve their academic, personal, and professional goals.
To fulfill its mission the ASC provides:
One-on-one professional support for holistic academic counseling
- Specialized academic advising
- ELL support (professional and peer)
- Collaboration with students, faculty, athletic coaches, and supervisors to facilitate student success
- Specialized career advising and resources
- Support for students with short-term injuries and illnesses
Academic accommodations for students with documented disabilities
- Evaluate documentation with student to determine accommodations and accessibility needs
- Assistive technology
- Transitions group for students with ASD and social pragmatic challenges
- Advocacy for the implementation of universal design
Tutoring
- Small-group review sessions for large core courses
- Subject tutors for specified courses
- 24/7 online supplemental tutoring
- Peer academic study coaches
