Current progress: $1516.00 toward our $3,000 goal
Celebrate with us!
For almost 50 years, La Vida has provided excellent outdoor opportunities for young people to learn more about themselves and develop their leadership skills. We strive to teach our participants what it means to care for the Earth and be faithful stewards of it. Leave No Trace environmental ethics are incorporated to help our participants understand their impact on the environment and how they can make a difference each time they are outdoors. When you give to La Vida, you are giving back to the Earth—and this has a lasting impact for future generations.
As we observe Earth Day this year, we'd love for you to consider joining in the celebration by giving a financial gift to La Vida. As always, your gifts will be used for scholarships to support students who could not otherwise afford to attend a La Vida program, and will go toward replacing worn-out equipment and maintaining our Massachusetts and New York challenge courses. In support of Earth Day's 2018 End Plastic Pollution Campaign, every gift over $55 between April 7 and April 30 will receive a reusable grocery bag with the La Vida logo.
Other ways you can celebrate:
Practice Leave No Trace every time you're outside
Join us for a service day at the challenge course April 21
Spend time outdoors enjoying God's creation
“The scholarship I received from La Vida helped me experience something completely new and different and helped me become a changed person. I would never have made such close friends that I now have, and would never have experienced the amazing journey if it wasn't for La Vida. La Vida taught me how to appreciate Creation on a whole new level. I no longer just see trees and plants but life all around me. I can now teach others the ways of caring for the Earth. ”

“I'm thankful that I had the opportunity to do Adventure Camp because I met a lot of new people and got closer to the people I already knew. I'm also thankful for the counselors because they were just as into the adventure as we were. I think La Vida is important because it exposed me to new experiences and pushed me out of my comfort zone. I truly loved it and wanted to return again the next week.”
